Our only passion is to produce sound, healthy puppies that have a great temperament.
My husband Gregory and I acquired our first Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Bosco, in July 2008. At the time we were just
looking for a family pet. The breeder we found, Robin Ney at Rivendell GSMD, has such a passion for the breed and a strong desire to continually create quality Swissies, that we accepted her offer to take a show quality dog; show him, champion him and breed him.
By June 2011 we got our first girl, Coco, from Cathy Cooper at Shadetree GSMD, with the intent of breeding her with Bosco. So we
entered into breeding these sweet dogs.
In August 2012 Bosco sired his first litter with a girl from 100 Acres Swissies. 10 beautiful puppies were born and for us the
experience was amazing. This experience solidified our confidence to breed Bosco and Coco. It is so rewarding to see these puppies go to their new homes knowing they will bring as much joy and love to their families as our Swissies have for us. Since then, Bosco has continued to sire. Bosco has also been busy with his work as a therapy dog. Both Bosco and Coco participate in pack hikes and drafting. And Coco is maturing nicely to earn her therapy certificate, but after she becomes a mom for the first time.
Coco continued to show and on Super Bowl day of this year, she received her AKC championship. This is the exact day that Bosco
received his championship, one year ago.
For us, this is a hobby not a business. We are excited to bring this litter of pups into the world and share them with loving
families.
